My thoughts on labeling in BDSM and why it’s worth moving beyond them for more presence and listening.

Neurodiverse people make up a noticeably large part of the BDSM world, and there is a reason for that. Dungeons offer what many spicy nervous systems need most: clarity, structure, rhythm, and sensory input that actually regulates instead of overwhelms. And the support for queerness!

What if dominance is not defined by force, but by presence? Space holding in impact play is about leadership, invitation over controlling and above all: connection. Perhaps it is time to re-define dominance.
