The Salon of Earthly Delights
Roles & Responsibilities in the Space
The Salon of Earthly Delights is supported by experienced players and helpers who help hold the container, inspire play, and care for safety. Thank you for (considering) being part of this space! :)
GENERAL GUIDELINES
FOR ALL ROLES
You will receive a color-coded cape from me at the beginning of the event (made by me 😉)
We will operate on the Superman Principle:
Cape on → you are in role and have “superpowers”
Cape off → you are a civilian, on break or participating privately
Wearing a cape signals responsibility and availability within your role.
Removing the cape means you are no longer acting in an official capacity.
Beyond the cape, dress however feels right for you — expressive of your areas of expertise, playful, mysterious, or open-ended.
Capes can be worn in many creative ways 😉
🜂 ALCHEMISTS
Turning intention into embodied connection, and everyday objects into perv magic, Alchemists are the kings, queens, and everything in between — both owners and servants of the Islands of Pleasure.
They help shape the atmosphere and invite participants into creative, consensual exploration.
Currently specialising in:
Impact play
Fruit play
Power play
Your role:
Guide and support activity on the Islands of Pleasure. Offer ideas, inspiration, or gentle prompts.
Support creative, embodied play rather than teaching techniques.
Help participants get the most out of the experience while keeping safety and consent at the center.
Monitor intensity, energy, and emotional temperature, and step in early if play begins to escalate beyond negotiated limits or capacity.
You are not there to lead workshops or provide formal training. The art of the role lies in invitation, presence, and attunement.
Shift: 19:00 – 21:00
At 21:00, please step back from actively guiding the Islands. Participants may continue independently. You are welcome to stay in the space, walk around, play (with consent), or simply relax at the bar.
✧ MENTORS
Mentors support the space through experience, presence, and example. They help participants connect, play, and discover how to enjoy themselves safely and confidently.
Mentors may embody roles they personally enjoy (e.g. Dom/sub, top/receiver, rigger/bunny, etc.).
Your role:
Walk through the space and remain available for questions, connection, or guidance.
Initiate contact or play only when it feels aligned for you.
Offer advice, reassurance or inspiration when asked.
Model consent, boundary-setting, and self-responsibility, including how to say no with clarity and care.
Take care of your own energy and limits, including taking breaks when needed.
You are not expected to fulfill every request or role. Your boundaries are part of what you model.
Shift: 19:00 – 23:00 (with breaks)
✨ FIREFLIES
Fireflies are the unicorns / angels of the space. They buzz around quietly, providing practical support, emotional grounding and care for the container.
Your role:
Assist with practical needs (e.g. directions, logistics, orientation).
Offer emotional support to participants who seem lost, overwhelmed or distressed.
Keep an eye on hygiene and shared-space care, following the Rules of Conduct.
Observe the space for rule violations or safety concerns. If you notice a violation, kindly remind the person of the rules. If you feel unsafe, ask help from an Alchemist or from a Mentor.
If the behavior continues or feels serious, inform Hekate / Aniko immediately, or an Alchemist or Mentor.
Report anything that feels off, even if it seems small. Over-reporting is better than under-reporting — it helps maintain a safe, high-quality space. If it is not urgent, then you can also send Hekate/Aniko a (voice) message after the event.
Fireflies do not participate in play while in role.
Shift: As discussed individually.
