When contacting us, we ask you to provide:

  • Nickname or Name (so we can address you personally)

  • Email address (to send you the newsletter)

2. Purpose of Data Collection

We collect this information solely for:

  • Sending you the newsletter with updates, news, and information about my work and events.

  • Addressing you personally in communication (using your provided nickname or name).

We do not use your data for marketing beyond the newsletter, and we will never share it with third parties.

3. Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed on the following legal basis under GDPR:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): By subscribing to the newsletter, you consent to the use of your data for this purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

4. Data Storage & Retention

  • Your data is stored securely on Squarespace servers. Squarespace is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring adequate protection of personal data in line with GDPR.

  • Your data will be retained for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your data will be deleted from the mailing list without undue delay.

5. Data Sharing

  • We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
    We will only disclose your data if required to comply with legal obligations (e.g. at the request of a competent authority).

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Restrict or object to processing

  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing)

  • Receive your data in a portable format
